Cockatoos

These vessels are an exploration of personality. Generally Sulphur-crested cockatoos are quite bold and raucous. However, I have observed through my interactions and drawings that they have their own personalities. Some are friendly, others shy, some bossy and others relaxed. I like to think that they display our best and worst qualities. My vessels have been created with this in mind, to offer a moment to reflect on these qualities within ourselves. I have chosen a monochrome palette to accentuate their individual personalities.
